  • Biography

    Nemirwen is a low elf, a rare species once thought killed off. Her kind are extremely receptive to magic, much more so than any other mortal race. This makes them very powerful mages and allows them to learn things in weeks where others would spend years if not decades to learn the same. The only downside, or upside depending on who looks at it, is that none of her kind are able to use magic unless a certain ritual is performed, binding them to somebody as a servant, body and soul. This is why they are called low elves, a race bound by fate to serve others, to be trod upon and used by every other living thing in the universe

    Low Elves bound by the ritual are forced to complete tasks set upon them by their masters, those who bound them. This does not extend to those who command their master, the ritual only extends to commands given by their true master. When giving a command the master must put weight behind the words, some use a certain tone, while others start or end the command with a certain word, all suffice as long as clear intent weighs down their command. A low elf is only able to change masters if a written contract is exchanged or their current master is killed, forcing them to conduct a new ritual.

    Nemirwen was found many years ago, bound in a crystal hidden within the ruins of her long forgotten city. Since then her ownership has been found in many hands, her most recent owner being the master of a slave trade operation, who often uses her to cast protective and preventative spells upon his goods in order to prevent everything from bandits, guards and thieves. This man has a large intrest in gold, but is not an idiot. Those who wish to take Nemirwen by force will be forced to contend with a creature bound by the will of another, and with power that makes a arch-mage look like a scribe in comparison. Though, if somebody were to spirit her away or kill the man before he could issue a command, Nemirwen would find herself in the company of a possible master.
